Overview

Case Buddy helps users track USCIS case statuses. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed and how it is handled.

We do not require account registration and do not operate a custom cloud account system for your case data.

Information Processed

Case name, receipt number, and optional notes that you enter.
Case status results returned from USCIS when you refresh.
Local app metadata such as last checked time.

How Data Is Used

Display and manage your tracked USCIS cases in the app.
Refresh and show latest case status details and timeline.
Send local notifications when status changes are detected.

Storage and Transmission

Your tracked case information is stored on your device. When you request a refresh, the app sends required query data (such as receipt number) to USCIS endpoints to retrieve official status results.

USCIS may require human verification checks (such as CAPTCHA), which are completed through an in-app web view.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information is transmitted only as needed to provide core app functionality (for example, USCIS status lookups and Apple system notification delivery).

Your Choices

You can edit or delete cases at any time inside the app.
You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
Uninstalling the app removes local app data according to iOS behavior.
